The Golf NSW Masters Pennant Round 1 took place this morning, Sunday 17 May. The team had an early alarm call to travel North to Russel Vale. Awaiting them was last years finalists, Wollongong.
In a close fought match the guys went down 4.5 to 3.5. There were wins for Jack Brand, Ian Asbury and John McFarlane and Lee Maddinson halved his match. Unfortunately, Will Ockenden (Masters Debutant), Mark Henning, Bill Moss and Neil Hartley lost their games.
Next week, the guys travel to Wollongong to take on Port Kembla.
