The Golf NSW Masters Pennant Round 3 took place this morning, Sunday 31 May. The team travelled to The Grange to take on the guys from Russell Vale.
The guys put in a great performance, winning the match 5.5 : 2.5 moving them into 2nd place on the ladder after Wollongong beat Port Kembla. There were wins for Jack Brand, Simon Keith, Gerard Day, Lee Maddinson and Bill Moss. Will Ockenden squared his match whilst John McFarlane and Neil Hartley were both defeated. Captain Jack Brand nominated Gerard Day as man of the match after stepping in at short notice and registering an excellent win playing at number 4.
Next week is another trip North to the Big Smoke to take on the Grange at Port Kembla.
