All Board positions are for three years, pursuant to the Triennial Rule as provided for in Schedule 4 of the Registered Clubs Act 1976. In the event that a Board position is vacated during the three year term then the position may be filled for the reainder of the term.

Honorary Life Membership can be granted to any member that is proposed and seconded by Club members, and approved by the Board, for consideration at an AGM. The Club has guidelines for assessing candidature for this honour.

The Club has a number of Committees that actively support the Board of Directors in dealing with the everyday business of the Club. Currently we have the following Committees:

  • House Committee
  • Greens and Match Committee
  • Building Committee
  • IT and Communication Committee
  • Work Health and Safety Committee

Staff and Volunteers

The Club could not have developed into what it is today without it’s strong band of dedicated volunteers. Our volunteers are involved in course maintenance, garden maintenance, book-keeping, bar duty, website development and updates, social media posts, garbage collection and more.

We have a small but effective team of Greens Staff who keep the course in excellent condition under the guidance of Will Ockenden, our Course Superintendent.

We also have our wonderful Links 19 Restaurant staff, with Kitchen Manager, Rene Kendall and Bar Manager, Lee Maddinson, providing all our food and beverages requirements.

Last, but not least, we have our book-keeper, Lee Jeffs, who can be seen in the office on Mondays. The Accounts department may be contacted at accounts@shoalhavenheadsgolfclub.com.au.
